I am a Londoner currently living in Teesside and belive that industrial companies should do more for the local environment and community within their own territory. Many people are vulnerable in the North East and the income generated by heavy industry sector should be invested back into the area to encourage a cleaner environment thus encouraging more tourism and jobs. One of the primary aims should be to re-instate the blue flag accolade recently lost in the areas due to industrial pollution concentrations being present in the water.Comment Tags: biodiversity, Blue Flag, Emissions, environment, Heavy Industry, industry, North East, pollution, Saltburn
