The words ‘co-operative’ ‘mutual’ ‘credit union’, ‘friendly society’ , and such other names that describe genuine member-controlled enterprises must be protected; it has to be it illegal for others to use them. Are you going to allow people use the word ‘Charity’ in their business name – I think not?

I have worked in more than 40 different countries and all have protected the use of the word ‘co-operative’.Comment Tags: ‘co-operative’ ‘mutual’ ‘credit union’, ‘friendly society’
